In Destiny 2, what are Cloud Striders?
The next major Destiny 2 expansion, Lightfall, and a new society known as the Cloud Striders were teased at the most recent Destiny 2 Showcase. The new element Strand and Arc 3.0 were also shown to us. For the time being, let's examine Cloud Striders in further detail in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2's Cloud Striders
We actually have a great deal of knowledge on Cloud Striders, even if we won't witness Lightfall until February 2023. The Cloud Striders' home, Neomuna, is a neon metropolis on Neptune where the event will take place. The greatest villain in Destiny 2—The Witness—is drawing nearer to the Traveler and using ships to launch attacks on the human race.
The Witness takes control of Calus, the King of Cabal, a human ally, during Lightfall. Calus and his Legion of the Shadows will terrorize Neomuna. We must against The Witness and protect Neomuna with the help of the Cloud Striders.
A tribe of humans known as the Cloud Striders made their home and prospered on Neptune. Among their people, they volunteer to combat darkness. For their society, Cloud Striders are similar to Guardians, however they lack Ghosts and the Traveler. It is expected that in the battle against Calus and his army, the Cloud Striders and we, the Guardians, will cooperate closely.
Regretfully, that is the current state of knowledge on Cloud Striders. We won't learn anything about Cloud Striders, including whether or if there is a main character, until Lightfall approaches, or how they fit into Lightfall's plot.
