Release of the Bone-crunching Mortal Kombat Movie Trailer

 Jul 23, 2024

The first shocking trailer for the next Mortal Kombat film, which will be released later this year, has officially been revealed by Warner Bros. The first two live action films, which were produced in the 1990s, have been out of our hands for more than 20 years.

Later this year, HBO Max and cinemas will both host the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie, which is being released by Warner Bros. HBO Max users may watch the film at home for no additional cost, which is sure to please fans.

Many of the highly anticipated characters from the upcoming film are featured in the new video. The film features a number of well-known combatants, including Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Sonya Blade.

Sadly, well-known characters like Johnny Cage and Kitana are absent from this fresh interpretation of the brand. They are not included in this film for whatever reason.

Additionally, Warner Bros. published an official description for the movie. The specifics are shown below.

Cole Young, an MMA fighter in "Mortal Kombat," is used to taking a pounding in exchange for money. However, he is ignorant of his background, which is why Outworld's Emperor Shang Tsung has sent his finest warrior, the otherworldly Cryomancer Sub-Zero, to find Cole. Cole, who is afraid for his family's safety, follows Special Forces Major Jax, who also has a mysterious dragon marking on his body, to find Sonya Blade. In short order, he arrives to the temple of Lord Raiden, an Elder God who guards Earthrealm and offers shelter to those who have the mark. Here, Cole receives training from seasoned combatants Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and renegade mercenary Kano in anticipation of joining Earth's greatest heroes in a titanic struggle for the universe against Outworld's adversaries. Will Cole, however, be forced to the limit in order to discover his arcana—the tremendous power residing inside his soul—in time to rescue his family and ultimately put an end to Outworld?

The film will be available for viewing on April 16, 2021. In contrast to previous video game movies, maybe it works out well!
