Elden Ring: What Does the Left Side of the Screen's Arch Icon Mean?
You're at a place where you may call NPC ghosts from Ashes you've collected throughout the game, such from boss fights, according to the Arch Icon you see on the left. You can get the essential item from the Twin Maiden Husks near the Table of Lost Grace. You'll need the Spirit Calling Bell. The amount of FP needed to summon each spirit varies, however if this icon is in the region, you may bring these spirits immediately to your aid in combat. This may help level the playing field against enemy mobs and assist in regions that you would find difficult to navigate.
It should be noted that this differs from using Summoning Pools to summon friends during boss battles, and that Furlcalling Finger Remedies are not even required for summoning. You will always be able to summon with this icon shown on the screen once you have the Bell in your possession.
