After years of anticipation, the release date for Marvel's Avengers has been revealed: May 2020.
A long time ago, Square Enix said that Crystal Dynamics and Eidos were developing an Avengers game, which would eventually be released at E3. During Square Enix's E3 conference, the game was shown to the world along with a tonne of information.
Marvel's Avengers begins on Avengers Day, a San Francisco celebration that turns tragic and results in the Avengers' dissolution. The plot resumes five years later, with the Avengers needing to reunite to face a formidable new foe.
Story is important in this movie, just as it is in Marvel's Spider-Man, and it seems like it will be an emotional trip as the many characters deal with the fallout from Avengers Day.
Marvel's Avengers has a stellar cast as well, with five well-known actors providing the voices of the Avengers. Among them are Nolan North as Iron Man/Tony Stark, Troy Baker as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Laura Bailey as Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff, Jeff Schine as Captain America/Steve Rogers, and Travis Willingham as Thor.
The game may be played alone as well as cooperatively with up to four players. It has a strong narrative focus. There will be more post-launch heroes and areas to be unlocked; however, they will be entirely unlocked and unhindered by lootboxes or anything similar.
On May 15, 2020, Marvel's Avengers will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
