Predator: Areas of Hunting Released on Friday, the 13th: The creator of the game
Taking a cue from Nintendo, PlayStation launched PlayStation State of Play, their own version of Nintendo Directs, the most recent of which took place this afternoon. Though Sony had promised a new game from PlayStation's Worldwide Studios before the broadcast, we definitely did not anticipate the announcement of the brand-new Predator: Hunting Grounds.
Friday the 13th is developing an asymmetric online multiplayer shooter called Predator: Hunting Grounds, which will only be available on the PlayStation 4. Illfonic, a game developer, collaborates closely with 20th Century Fox.
In Predator: Hunting Grounds, a group of gamers known as the Fireteam will attempt to carry out paramilitary objectives in the game. On the other hand, the Predator will be one participant in the match, and their objective is to eliminate the Fireteam.
Additional information on the game was provided by Charles Brungardt, CEO of Illfonic, in an article posted on the official PlayStation site after the webcast. It's encouraging to hear that he emphasized the importance of "gaming over everything" in the game. Additionally, they claim that Fox has been a huge assistance in the production process as they work to make the setting seem as true to the Predator universe as possible.
In 2020, Predator: Hunting Grounds will only be available on the PlayStation 4.
