Moon Knight video games: Every appearance in Moon Knight video games
Aside from the newly released Moon Knight series on Disney+, many casual fans of the Marvel superhero movie world may not even know who Moon Knight is. Many heroes have not been adapted for the big or small screen, even though many people are familiar with iconic heroes like Spider-Man or members of the Avengers like Captain America, Iron Man, or the Hulk. On March 30, Moon Knight—one of these heroes—finally made his appearance. The white-clad antihero has, however, sometimes made an appearance in video games before this. The following lists all of Moon Knight's appearances in video games up to this point.
Moon Knight's Every Video Game Appearance
This list will be divided into two sections: video game playable Moon Knight moments and non-playable Moon Knight moments.
Moon Knight is a hired gunman who was raised from the dead by the Egyptian moon deity Khonshu. The guy in the mask, Marc Spector, transforms into a vigilante after returning to the US, and thanks to his use of cutting-edge technology and deductive reasoning abilities, he eventually resembles Batman, the rival of DC Comics. These are every video game appearance that Moon Knight can make.
Playable Appearances of Moon Knight in Video Games
Moon Knight made his debut as a playable character in Marvel Ultimate Alliance in 2006. Only the Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 versions of the game allowed you to play with him. In Ultimate Alliance, Moon Knight made his introduction to gamers, along with the other 139 Marvel characters.
Additionally, Moon Knight appeared in the Nintendo Switch exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Marvel Knights DLC. Along with some new, flashier techniques, the character carried his previous move set from Ultimate Alliance 1.
There is more to the partnerships. In the 2012 Marvel Avengers Alliance Facebook and mobile game, Moon Knight again made another playable debut. Moon Knight was a member of the Secret Avengers squad in this game and could be controlled via the turn-based combat system.
One such game that let you handle the white-caped hero was the Marvel Heroes MMO, which is available for free. Moon Knight was one of the DLC costumes in the game, which was available from June 2013 until November 2017. Other costumes included Mr. Knight, his Earth X suit, his Secret Avengers outfit, and more.
Moon Knight appears in a new light—that is, moonlight—in the Marvel fighting game Marvel Contest of Champions for iOS and Android. In this game, Moon Knight gains a lot of strength when he fights a character during a new moon. He is using his truncheon and Crescent Darts in this game.
Moon Knight may also be played in the mobile top-down brawler Marvel Future Fight. There are three ways for players to employ the Marvel superhero in this game. Mr. Knight, Standard Moon Knight, and an armored version of the hero are those three.
Another turn-based combat game, Marvel Strike Force, is the most current Marvel mobile game to include Moon Knight. To reflect his tenacity from the comics, Moon Knight can withstand more attacks in this game because to his much more enhanced constitution.
In addition to appearing in mobile games, Moon Knight has also been included in the LEGO Marvel series, which includes LEGO Marvel Superheroes, LEGO Marvel Avengers, and LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2. The focus of these games is on Moon Knight's staff, his staff-throwing Crescent Darts, and his cape-gliding abilities.
Other Unplayable Episodes in the Video Game Moon Knight
When it comes to appearances outside of being playable in Marvel video games, Moon Knight has certainly done his share. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is one of those games where Spider-Man appears to defeat Black Cat and Kingpin.
Additionally, he makes an appearance with Hawkeye in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, alongside the West Coast Avengers, during Hawkeye's tale finale. Additionally, Moon Knight may be heard spoken by Troy Baker in the Marvel DLC pack for Pinball FX 2, where he engages in combat with two of his most evil foes, Midnight and Morpheus.
Moon Knight makes one more specialized appearance in Marvel's Avengers Academy Game. Players might add an adolescent Moon Knight to their various campuses in this appallingly received game. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he may not be as well-known, but players have had almost two decades to spend with the character portraying him. Since a Fortnite collaboration could be coming to the game to celebrate the performance, he might perhaps appear in additional video games soon.
