All the information you want on Blaidd's Elden Ring questline is provided here. Clearly, the content following contains spoilers.

Walkthrough of Blaidd Questline Complete

Blaidd's questline in Elden Ring consists of 11 steps, the first of which is accessible early in the game and the last of which isn't available until almost the very end.

  1. Speak to Blaidd at Mistwood Ruins.
  2. Defeat Darriwil With Blaidd at Forlorn Hound Evergaol.
  3. Meet Ranni at Ranni’s Rise.
  4. Find Blaidd in the Siofra River Well.
  5. Talk to Seluvis at Seluvis’s Rise.
  6. Talk to Sorceress Sellen at Waypoint Ruins.
  7. Return to Blaidd in the Siofra River.
  8. Defeat Starscourge Radahn.
  9. Return to Forlorn Hound Evergaol.
  10. Complete Ranni’s Questline.
  11. Return to Ranni’s Rise.

It is possible for you to unintentionally bypass parts of Blaidd's questline if you go far enough along in the narrative without talking to him. You won't get to experience the Darriwil battle and other plot points, for instance, if you meet Ranni in the Mistwood Ruins without also meeting Blaidd. Throughout the game, it's advisable to communicate with Blaidd often.

1. Visit Mistwood Ruins and speak with Blaidd

You must rendezvous with Blaidd near the Mistwood Ruins in Limgrave, where you will hear an enigmatic wolf howling, in order to begin the Elden Ring quest. Merchant Kale will teach you the Finger Snap gesture and explain that you may use it to call the howling wolf in the Mistwood if you return to him at the Church of Elleh from the beginning of the game. Once the gesture is unlocked, go back to the Mistwood Ruins and summon Blaidd to your location by using the Finger Snap to hear a howl. The questline will begin to move in this way.

2. Overcome Darriwil At Forlorn Hound Evergaol with Blaidd

Then Blaidd will show up and inform you that he is searching for a guy in Limgrave by the name of Darriwil, who is located at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol. The map below shows the precise position.

Before the battle begins, go to the Evergaol and use the golden summoning symbol on the ground to call Blaidd. Blaidd on your side, Darriwil ought to be easy to take out. See our Bloodhound Knight Darriwil boss guide if you're having trouble. Blaidd is going to Ranni's Rise in Liurnia now that Darriwil has been killed. Along the way, he directs you to locate Blacksmith Iji and extends an invitation for you to come find him.

3. Go to Ranni's Rise

to meet Ranni.

Ranni's Rise is situated in the northwest of the map in the Three Sisters, a location of Liurnia that is only accessible by way of Caria Manor. You may locate Ranni, the witch, at Ranni's Rise after conquering Caria Manor. Serving her will initiate Ranni's questline and enable you to go on with Blaidd's tale.

Ranni will present Blaidd, Iji, and Seluvis to you. You will be stuck in Ranni's Rise until you speak with them all and use up all of their conversation choices, so be sure to do so. Blaidd will inform you to meet him next at the Limgrave Mistwood Siofra River Well.

4. Go to the Siofra River Well

and locate Blaidd.

The Siofra River Well is situated in Limgrave's Mistwood, next to the Minor Erdtree. It will lead you below to Blaidd's waiting area beside the Siofra River. Blaidd is already far within the zone, so before you can locate him, you'll need to battle your way to the Hallowthorn Grounds.

When you reach the Siofra River's open section, Blaidd is located close to the edge of the cliff. For further details, see our Blaidd Siofra River location guide. He will inform you that your quest for Nokron has come to a standstill and advise you to go back to the Three Sisters and see Seluvis.

5. Speak with Seluvis at

Seluvis's Rise

Going back to the Three Sisters, you should now be able to discover Seluvis in Seluvis's Rise. You're going to meet a Sorceress called Sellen anyway, so he'll tell you that she could know more. He wants you to deliver Seluvis’s Introduction to her.

6. Visit Waypoint Ruins and speak with Sorceress Sellen

.You may find Sorceress Sellen near Limgrave's Waypoint Ruins. Her precise position is shown on the map below. To get to her, you'll need to go into the Waypoint Ruins Cellar and beat the Mad Pumpkin Head monster, although most players should have little trouble with this battle.

It's excellent that you have Sorceress Sellen to explain that you need to beat Starscourge Radahn in order to enter Nokron since there's another excellent Rune for you to obtain from Radahn. Now that we have this knowledge, let's go back to Blaidd.

7. Take the Siofra River back to Blaidd

Blaidd is still in the Siofra River in the same spot. You follow this fresh lead back to him, and he tells you of a festival focused on Radahn that's taking place in a castle near Caelid. Blaidd advises you to meet him there, and that's where you may find him. You must proceed to Redmane Castle, which is located in the southern part of Caelid, since it is where the festival is being hosted.

8. Take down Radahn, the Starscourge

When you go to Redmane Castle, Blaidd and other NPCs, such as Alexander the Iron Fist, are located in the courtyard close to where all the chanting is occurring. The entrance to the Radahn boss encounter will open once you speak with the announcer to start the festival. While most Elden Ring players would find Radahn to be a very difficult battle, you can easily beat him by using our Radahn Cheese Strategy guide.

Blaidd will instruct you to meet him "where the Falling Star bit the Earth" after the combat. Now that Radahn is out of the picture, a falling star south of the Mistwood in Limgrave near Fort Haight has formed a large crater. You and Blaidd are almost done with your adventure; this crater leads to Nokron, Eternal City. However, when you go to Nokron, Blaidd is nowhere to be seen.

9. Head back to Evergaol, the Forlorn Hound

To complete Blaidd's questline, you must go back to the Forlorn Hound Evergaol rather than to Nokron. Earlier in the game, you engaged in combat with Darriwil here. Agheel Lake South is the nearest Site of Grace, and it is located in Limgrave, south of the Waypoint Ruins. You may speak with Blaidd when you get closer to the Evergaol's core. If you choose to go on with the quest, you should also choose to unlock the Evergaol and liberate Blaidd. After being set free, Blaidd will warn you that you won't be allowed to accompany him as he goes to meet Ranni. Right now, Blaidd's questline is on pause for a while, and before you can visit him again, you'll need to complete your task for Ranni. You may visit Blacksmith Iji in the meantime to get some more information on Blaidd's circumstances.

10. Finish the questline for Ranni

Even though Ranni's questline is rather lengthy and will take you across The Lands Between, you are now around halfway through the game. Simply return to Nokron, Eternal City, and take in the surroundings. To complete the quest, get back to Ranni after locating the Fingerslayer Blade. From then, it's really simple, but in order to complete Blaidd's narrative, you must complete the whole questline.

11. Go back to Ranni's Ascent

Now that you have completed Ranni's questline, it is at last time to visit your old buddy. To locate Blaidd one last time, go back to Ranni's Rise. Sadly, he will become angry toward you right away, and your only option will be to murder him. You will get his Royal Greatsword and armor set upon defeating Blaidd. Although the Wolf Mask is not included, you may complete the appearance by following our Elden Ring Wolf Mask guide.Alas, that's all there is to Blaidd in Elden Ring. Blaidd the Half-Wolf is one of the strongest questlines in the whole game, and most players will contact with him at least once or twice before the credits roll because of how his questline ties into most of the key stories in the game. You may now play Elden Ring on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
