Collection of Mana is now available for the Nintendo Switch in the West.
Not only is Square Enix making a lot of announcements during Nintendo's current E3 Direct, but they have also revealed that Dragon Quest and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are collaborating. The confirmation of the long-running rumor during the Nintendo Direct was that the Japanese-only Collection of Mana will eventually make its way to the West.
The first three original games in the series, Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densetsu 3, also known as Trials of Mana in this region, are included in Collection of Mana.
In the West, we have never had the chance to play the third game without importing it, thus this compilation is something that many have been requesting for a long. Having all three in one collection is quite beneficial for the games that are more difficult to find.
The announcement at the very end that Collection of Mana would be accessible on the Nintendo eShop later today made this even better. This implies that you may get it as soon as it is listed on the shop, so there won't be any more waiting. You will have to purchase the game online if you want to play it now, since a physical release is not scheduled till August 27.
