The Solo Leveling universe At first, the game has the impression of a grindy open-world JRPG with characters acquiring hunter ranks, with S being the highest and E the lowest. In light of this, let us to present Sung Jinwoo and the group to you:

Being the weakest hunter among them all is a dubious pleasure bestowed upon Sung Jinwoo, an E-Rank hunter. Sung had a little awakening of his abilities, much like all the other hunters. When he joined other hunters to battle supernatural dangers in the world's dungeons, this made him a burden. However, it was also his cunning that let him get through the most pivotal scene early in the series.Following a horrifying bloodbath in a double dungeon that fulfills the "Courage of the Weak" hidden mission, Sung's cunning is rewarded with an enigmatic ability bestowed by "The System" that enables him to do quests, level up, and turn slain foes into minions known as Shadows. As Jinwoo rises to great heights as a hunter with an unexpectedly bright future, he must join the battle against the many enemies that are making their way into the human world.

What Does Solo Leveling Mean with the Name Changes?

Fans were concerned about potential changes when Solo Leveling was moved from Korea to Japan and held in Tokyo. This couldn't hurt too terribly on the surface. After all, the Japanese comic Old Boy served as a vague inspiration for the groundbreaking Korean masterpiece Oldboy.
However, the transition from Sung Jin-Woo (or Jinwoo Sung) to Shun Mizushino may come as a particularly sharp shock to admirers. Combining the phrases "Treasured Friend" and "Successor or One on the Verge of Winning," the name has a deeper connotation. The new name Shun, which means "Fast" or "Talented," has significance, but getting there will take some effort. Mizushino may have meant to "water the bamboo," which is a metaphor for achieving your objectives as a group or as an individual. It's all pretty much fan service without being overtly offensive, so I would recommend seeing the anime yourself. This program has the potential to be one of the season's highlights since A-1 is an amazing studio that has worked on shows like Nier, Fate, Fairy Tail, and many more.
