Release date, leaks, pre-order incentives, and all the details on Destiny 2: Lightfall
The next major addition for Destiny 2 is called Lightfall, and it was just announced. The game is going to have a new setting, new adversaries, new friends, and a new subclass. Although a lot of information has been released on Destiny 2 Lightfall, it may not always be easy to find all that is known. Let's review all we currently know about Lightfall and the anticipated release date for Destiny 2.
What Can We Expect From Destiny 2's Lightfall?
The plot that began at the conclusion of the Witch Queen expansion will be continued in Lightfall. Your Guardian will find yourself on a thriving, brand-new Neptune society. The new Legion Shadow Forces, emboldened by The Witness, are attacking the people who live in this civilization, known as the Cloud Striders. Additionally, the real Emporer Calus—rather than one of his robots—will make a reappearance. Sadly, it seems like The Witness has him caught and is in charge of him.
We will also be getting a new subclass where we can use The Strand's energy in addition to all of these new characters and a new setting. Along with a new super to experiment with, this new green power will provide every class a ton of new personalization possibilities. Although all of the details about this new subclass are unknown, we do know that the Hunter can spin and hurl a kunai on a rope, the Warlock can fire missiles powered by Strand energy, and the Titan super is a combat class with bladed hands.
When Will Destiny 2's Lightfall Release?
While there was a protracted gap in substance between Witch Queen and Beyond Light, that doesn't seem to be the case this time. With a current release date of February 28, 2023, Lightfall is scheduled to debut concurrently with Witch Queen. Although there may be some changes to the release date, it is still anticipated to happen in February, allowing players enough time to catch up on any missed previous expansion.
What Lightfall Pre-Order Bonuses Are There?
Pre-order incentives are included with Lightfall, just as they are with every other Destiny 2 expansion. An special ghost shell, insignia, and emote will be yours to get. This time around, pre-ordering Lightfall is the only way to get an exotic auto weapon. None of the past expansions have offered an exotic for pre-order, even though they have all provided an ornament for the new exotic at the conclusion of the expansion. The greatest thing is that you may get the auto rifle and all other pre-order incentives as soon as you pre-order the expansion.
Where Are Your Lightfall Pre-Order Bonuses Disbursed?
You may locate your pre-order goodies at the Cryptarch in the tower after placing your Lightfall preorder. For the things to show up in the Cryptarch's inventory, you may need to restart your game or log out and back in. See our other tutorials for Destiny 2 if you want any more assistance.
