Elden Ring: Methods for Regression Solving Alone Uncovers Puzzle's Secrets

FromSoftware has hidden certain messages in Elden Ring, such as the one in the Royal Capital Leyndell, that serve as pointers to secrets. Once vanquishes Godfrey, the following message will appear on a statue: "Secrets are revealed only by regression." This is the solution to Elden Ring's Regression Alone Reveals Secrets challenge.

The Regression Alone Solved Uncovers Secrets Puzzle

Offering players open-ended puzzles is something Elden Ring really likes doing. You are given just one line to work with, much as in Chelona's Rise. Finding out what to do when all you are taught is that "Regression alone reveals secrets" might be rather challenging.

Is it advising you to go back alone or, conversely, to take the opposite action and go on with someone else? Fortunately, there is an easy solution. You may find the challenge a little challenging to solve if you are not a Incantation user.

You must use the Law of Regression Incantation in order to uncover the secret. If you do not already have it, you may get it from any Incantation vendor to whom you present the prayerbook of the Golden Order Principia. To equip and utilize the invocation after you have it, you will need 37 Intelligence. If you lack the Intelligence, you will have to either level up until you reach 37 Intelligence or respec at Rennala in the Grand Library.

You must return to the statue after equipping the Law of Regression Incantation, and then you must just cast the Incantation in front of it. Your prize for cracking this puzzle will be a significant revelation of lore. You will be let down if you were hoping for some superpowerful spell or weapon. But you can't miss this if you want to learn more about Elden Ring's narrative as you follow along.

How to Obtain the Law of Regression Incantation Golden Order Principia Prayerbook

To get the Law of Regression Incantation, players must obtain the Golden Order Principia prayerbook. By quickly heading to the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace and ascending to the top floor, players may locate this book.

When you reach the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace, exit to the right of the location and climb the substantial tree root to reach the balcony. As soon as you go outside the door and onto the balcony, turn left and leap onto the building's roof. There is an open window here; leap through it to locate another enormous tree root. The Principia Prayerbook of the Golden Order may be found on the hanging chair by crossing this tree root.
