Who Was Removed by Marvel from the Trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder?

 Jul 23, 2024

Marvel has finally released the first trailer forThor: Love and Thunder after many months of anticipation. But rather than providing a solution, the first teaser trailer for Thor's fourth solo movie has raised more doubts. In the Thor: Love and Thunder, brief clip Fans believe Marvel has omitted a hidden figure who should have been in that scene because of the curiously vacant place in the teaser.

Trailers edited for secrecy are nothing new for Marvel Studios. Spider-Man: No Way Home showed Tom Holland landing close to the Statue of Liberty in the trailer; this same sequence starred Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in the movie. The Avengers: Endgame (2019) included a modified version of the trailer, however in that case, just a clip starring Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts was cut

In the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer, who is missing

Given that there is much too much vacant space to the left of Thor and Korg in a picture of the two of them, it is obvious that someone is being concealed in the Thor trailer. There should be someone there, but who? Since Love and Thunder boasts a large ensemble cast that includes Christian Bale as Gorr, Russell Crowe as Zeus, and several Guardians of the Galaxy, fans have plenty of guesses. assuming their previous positions, this enigmatic individual has a lot of options.Jane Foster: Mighty Thor

The most plausible possibility for the third person in this picture is Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who will make her screen debut as the Mighty Thor in this movie, despite the many fan ideas about thrilling cameos and character revelations. The last image of the teaser showed Jane brandishing Mjolnir; Marvel probably intended to postpone her costumed appearance for the stinger. She was probably cut out of the picture with Thor and Korg because of this.Jane Foster's presence in that image would be a sadly plausible reason for this editing cover-up, because it is evident that she is in the movie. Fans speculate that Portman's role in that moment may not be the other person that goes with Thor and company throughout the movie.Beta Ray Bill

Many believe that Beta Ray Bill is the mysterious figure standing next to Thor in the teaser, despite the fact that fans have been pleading for him to appear in the MCU for years. Readers of comic books like Beta Ray Bill because he is a worthy man who is capable of lifting Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor. His original plan was to make a brief appearance in Thor: Ragnarok, but director Taika Waititi determined it wouldn't be true to the character. Waititi may present Beta Ray Bill in a much more sombre manner now that he's directing Love and Thunder again. Fans would love it, but it would interfere with Jane Foster's time in the limelight as Thor, so it's still unclear whether he'll make the cut.Hercules

Hercules should feature in Love and Thunder as Russell Crowe's portrayal of Zeus will undoubtedly expose the MCU to a broad range of new gods. Hercules has long been mentioned as a potential figure in the movie, but no solid information about the cast, costumes, or other leaks has come to light.Thor and Hercules have engaged in several battles over the history of comic books, and Taika Waititi appears like he would like to experiment with Hercules in one of his films. Hercules is a strong candidate to make an appearance in Love and Thunder, even if it's just a little cameo. This Marvel deity may not have been cut from the trailer, but in July, you might be able to see him on the big screen.

Loki

This is a long shot, but the Norse God of Mischief himself is the one figure who is used to long shots. Since his debut in the first Thor movie and, more significantly, since he played the adversary in the first Avengers movie, Tom Hiddleston's Loki has grown to be one of the most well-known characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has since starred in every Thor film to date and even has a Disney Plus series that is planned for a second season. The Time Variance Authority, the Sacred Timeline, and the notion of variations were initially introduced to MCU viewers via the Loki television series. Although Avengers: Infinity War saw the death of the original Loki at the hands of Thanos, a variation of Loki managed to escape to our timeline and has been brought up to date throughout the first season of his show.Even if it may not be the right time, fans would be thrilled to see Thor and Loki reunited. There is a remote possibility that Loki may make a cameo in Thor: Love and Thunder since he is scheduled to appear in another season of his own program on Disney Plus. Additionally, the God of Mischief is rumoured to make additional appearances in films such asstrong>Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.Once again, quite unlikely (and primarily wishful thinking), but even a quick cameo from Tom Hiddleston would be much welcomed. Furthermore, it's precisely the kind of stuff Marvel would want to hide behind a reworked trailer. There is still a tonne of amazing Marvel content to enjoy while we wait to find out who is really meant to be in this scenario. In less than a month, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will make its debut, and Moon Knight is officially halfway through on Disney Plus.On July 8, 2022, Thor: Love and Thunder opens in theatres around the country.
