How to Handle Noblestalk in the Third Baldur's Gate

Since Baldur's Gate3 contains just one Noblestalk, it seems sense that you would not know what to do with it. The "Find the Mushroom Picker" mission requires you to avoid activating the adjacent Bibblebang flora in order to pick this mushroom. After obtaining it, the mission advises you to give it back to Darryth. But there are other things you can do with it than this.

Noblestalk Mushroom?

In Baldur's Gate 3, the Noblestalk mushroom may be used in four distinct ways:

• You can give it to Darryth for her to sell in Baldur’s Gate.
• You can give it to Shadowheart to help her with her memories
• You can give it to Baelen to restore him to his former self
• You can use it if you’re playing as The Dark Urge to get some of your memories back

The Noblestalk Mushroom (/)has special qualities that allow memories to be restored. That is the reason it is so precious. You may want to think again before rewarding Darryth with it if that's what you were hoping for. But in order to do that, you must persuade her by winning a Persuasion or Indimidation check, which might be problematic if you have activated the Karmic Dice mechanic.Just give it to Baelen if you have a sadistic streak. You'll see very soon that Darryth, his wife, was telling the truth. Using the Noblestalk will heal Baelen from his present condition and return him to his terrible, pre-abusive spouse.Finally, you may eat the Noblestalk mushroom yourself if you're using the Dark Urge Origin Character in the game. Your character will acquire some of their lost memories as a result of this. When the item is consumed, an event will start, and you will hear the narrator describe your character's horrible past interests before they lose their memory.Giving it to Shadowheart or allowing the Dark Urge to utilize it are the better options in this situation.
