In Elden Ring, How to Stop a Walking Mausoleum

You must first find one in Elden Ring in order to halt a Walking Mausoleum. The first Walking Mausoleum that players might come upon is located in Limgrave's southwest corner. In wide spaces that a gigantic rock monster can pass through with ease, walking mausoleums may be seen. The sound that they create will alert players when they are getting near to one. There is a giant swinging bell atop Walking Mausoleums. When you're near enough, it's time to eliminate one. They are easily recognized because they resemble enormous walking turtles.

Get near enough to the walking goliath of rocks first, and be careful to stay on your mount, Torrent, so that you can move quickly enough to avoid the Walking Mausoleum's horrifyingly heavy feet. Look for any white barnacles on the legs of a Walking Mausoleum and remove them from all four legs. When avoiding the Walking Mausoleum, move quickly since it will fight back.

The Walking Mausoleum will sometimes launch a barrage of assaults. You should not bother attempting to attack when this occurs. Allow the enormous creature to complete its life cycle before pursuing the white barnacles once again. When a sufficient number of barnacles are removed from the Walking Mausoleum, the monster's legs will start to fold, causing the Mausoleum to fall to the ground.
