How to Break the Steel Watch in Baldur's Gate 3 Using the Neurocitor
Jul 24, 2024
You may make sure that nobody can take control of Baldur's Gate's Steel Watch by destroying the Neurocitor. But using Wulbren's runepowder bomb to blow it up can have disastrous results. Fortunately, the automatons may be stopped by using the Neurocitor itself. This is the method.
How to Get the Gondians to Stop the Steel Watch by Using the Neurocitor
To use the Neurocitor to protect the city from the Steel Watch, do the following actions:
Save the Gondians you meet right as you enter the Foundry
Talk to Gondian Zanner Toobin
Free the families of the Gondians in the Iron Throne prison beneath the Gray Harbor
Return to the Foundry and talk again to Gondian Zanner once the hostages are safe
Fight your way to the Neurocitor within the Foundry
Let Gondian Zanner Toobin take care of the Neurocitor
You will discover that Gondians are forced to labor for the cultists once you have located the Foundry. Many gnomes and their families would perish if you decide to blow up the whole complex. Their loved ones have been abducted by Gortash, who imprisons them underwater. When you enter the Foundry, beat the cultists, and rescue them, the Gondians will explain everything. You will meet the blind Gondian Zanner Toobin in the next chamber, and he will give you more details on everything that is going on.Iron Throne, an undersea prison, is where Gortash is holding them. Reaching that destination won't be that easy. You have to figure out a way in first. Go to Flymm Cargos at .Then seek for the door to the basement. It's best to fast save before coming into this section. Entering there will not only result in a battle encounter, but finding the basement will also rely on your ability to pass the Perception test. The next time your characters see it, you will have to load and hope if you fail the perception check. You will eventually come upon the Dwarf, Redhammer, and his crew. Getting Redhammer to agree with you by winning many charisma tests is one strategy. If that works, Redhammer will let you go on board the submersible with no further issues.Another option is to settle Redhammer's debt if your Charisma isn't quite up to mark. You may get him to turn away and allow you to enter the submersible by paying him a thousand gold pieces. You have a special negotiating tool if you've agreed to take up the mission of vengeance for the deceased Waveservant. In exchange for Redhammer's trip to the Iron Throne, you may promise to spare him from the Waveservants. Here, too, it could be wise to make some savings. Under Sahuagin's onslaught, you have around eight rounds to liberate every captive before the Iron Throne is totally inundated. It is ideal if your group is able to cast Mage Hand, take damage, and move quickly. To unlock the cages and prevent the Gondians from escaping while simultaneously ensuring that the Sahuagin don't assault them, you will need as many hands as feasible.LINKED:Class, Abilities, and Gear for the Best Baldur's Gate 3 Astarion BuildYou could run across the mermaids that sent you after Redhammer when you go back to the surface, and they might show up and start fighting again. In the event that it doesn't, or after your interaction with the Waveservats, return to the Foundry and inform the Gondians of your actions. Zanner Toobin will momentarily join your party if you speak with him. He will discover a means to detonate the equipment without using Wulbren's runepowder bomb if he manages to reach the Neurocitor.
If Gondian Zanner Toobin passes away, what would you do?
It is not required for you to use the Neurocitor for Zanner to survive. To find out how to stop the Steel Watch, perform the Speak with Dead Ritual Spell on Gondian Zanner. You will get a coupon from him to use on the Neuricitor. Once you've spoken with Gondian, go to the machine and choose the option."Remember the code that Toobin gave you."You succeed with a DC of 7 on an Intelligence Check. If everything goes well, the Steel Watch has been thwarted and the city of Baldur's Gate is safe.
