The Battle Royale Mode in Fortnite, A laPUBG, will launch as a stand-alone game.
Recently, Epic Games unveiled a new method for playing Fortnite based on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' popularity. The game's Battle Royale feature has generated some discussion over the early access title, but it seems like the feature will be available for free on all platforms starting on September 26.
Though it won't include the whole game, Fortnite's Battle Royale mode will be available on PCs, Macs, and Xbox One.The mechanics of the mode are similar to those of PUBG.One large map is thrown at 100 participants, and the match is won by the last person remaining. While attempting to avoid being murdered by other players, players search the map for goods that will help them survive.
It was only a matter of time after PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds became popular that someone attempted to replicate the gameplay. For a few months, Epic claims to have been experimenting with introducing the Battle Royale mode to Fortnite. They claim that it was so much fun that they decided to make it available to everyone as a free download.
All platforms are now offering early access to Fortnite, which will ultimately become a free game. That is, at the very least, what Epic Games is now stating. That being said, there is a fee to play the whole game. The Standard Edition of Fortnite costs $39.99, and there are more editions that go up to $149.99 for the Limited Edition of the game.
