Who is the Overwatch 2 voice actor for Junker Queen?
The most recent hero to enter the roster of Overwatch 2 is Junker Queen, and many fans are curious about the voice actor behind this new Tank character. One well-known figure in Overwatch's mythology is the Junker Queen. She is the head of a gang known as the Junkers and the queen of Junkertown, a map that appears in the original Overwatch game. If you know anything about the backstory of the game, you also know that she's the reason Roadhog and Junkrat were forced to leave Junkertown in the first place.
It was just a matter of time before she became a playable character since she is an important part of the Overwatch narrative. Here's all you need to know about the Overwatch 2 voice actor for Junker Queen, a character who requires a voice fit for such a bombastic persona.
In Overwatch 2, who provides the voice of Junker Queen?
Siho Ellsmore, an Australian voice actor well known for her portrayal of Cara Winfield on the Australian TV series Neighbours, voices The Junker Queen. Although she doesn't have as many credits as some other voice actresses in video games, she performs a fantastic job in Overwatch as Junker Queen. She most recently provided the voice of Xu Feng in the underrated Swansong of Vampire: The Masquerade.
Ellsmore will have a great opportunity to shine as Junker Queen in Overwatch 2, especially with the PVE co-op mode that will reveal more about the game's narrative and mythology and provide her with lots of chances to joke about with the other Overwatch cast members. She will probably have exclusive chat with heroes like Roadhog and Junkrat, among others, much as certain characters do in Overwatch battles.
As for the Junker Queen, who is she?
As previously mentioned, Junker Queen is the head of the Junkers and the queen of Junkertown. Her character in Overwatch 2 is Tank. As Overwatch 2 switches to a single Tank 5v5 mode, every single Tank hero in the game has been altered to increase their durability. Since Junker Queen is the first fully new Tank (Doomfist excepted) to be unveiled for the game, her outfit was designed with the new lineup in mind.
Her main weapon is a melee strike that, when used against an enemy, inflicts a harm on them. This is a great variation on previous melee skills like Reinhardt's. She may hurl her sword at an adversary and draw them toward her, much as Roadhog does with his hook, thanks to her alternative fire.
Her main weapon is an AOE called Commanding Shout that speeds up and overheals friends in her immediate vicinity. When she performs her Ultimate, Rampage, she dashes forward, wounding every adversary she comes into touch with and stopping their healing for a brief period of time.
October 4th is the release date for Overwatch 2 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
