The DLC for Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 2 includes Raiden, Black Manta, and Hellboy.
Particularly in comparison to Fighter Pack 1, Fighter Pack 2 is a touch odd. The initial Fighter Pack for Injustice 2 included one Mortal Kombat character, Sub Zero, and two DC characters, Red Hood and Starfire. On the other hand, Black Manta is the only character in this DLC pack who is really a DC superhero. The other two, Hellboy and Raiden, are from Dark Horse Comics and Mortal Kombat, respectively.
Of course, it's not like NetherRealm Studios hasn't already said emphatically that it welcomes guest characters to its cast. At one time or another, characters like Jason Vorhees, Predator, Leatherface, and even Kratos from God of War have appeared in other NetherRealm-developed games.
The fact that there is just one DC character being introduced this time around may cause some people to hesitate, even if all three characters are deserving additions to the cast.
In any case, on September 12, Fighter Pack 2 will be on sale, and that same day, the first character will be granted early access. Furthermore, early access to all three of the new fighters in a bundle before they become available separately will be granted to players who have bought the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack, or the Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 2.
Injustice 2 is now playable on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
