Where to Find Sorcery and Incantation Vendor Locations in Elden Ring for Spells

 Jul 24, 2024

The primary method of obtaining fresh supplies in Elden Ring is by going to one of the several merchants. The kind of spell you want to purchase will determine which merchants you need to see. The majority of sellers will provide incantations or magic items. The majority of your spells will come from merchants, but the only other source you'll have is the outside world. Unfortunately, spell sellers are not your typical merchants found around Elden Ring. Let's discuss where to discover merchants selling incantations and magic in Elden Ring.

Where to Find Incantation and Sorcery Vendors

Magic

There is only one main merchant that you may locate for sorcery spells. Fortunately, you can go to this merchant before killing Godrick. To reach the Waypoint Ruins, go south after crossing the bridge and east from the Gatefront Ruins. Entering the ruins' subterranean will lead you to a mist wall that houses the Pumpkin Head monster. You may discover Sorceress Sellen in the now-open chamber after you kill him.

For the most of the early game, Sellen will be your primary source for sorcery. After you beat Godrick, you may locate Thops in the church, although he only sells initiated sorcery spells. He'll also turn into a magic seller if you finish Millicent's mission to find Gowry in Sellia. But in order to finish this quest—which has a lengthy questline—you must murder Commander O'Neil. You should be able to reach Miriel before finishing it, since she is able to sell sorceries and incantations.

If you wish to gather all the sorceries you may purchase, you should speak with every sorcery dealer, including the little ones like Rogier in Stormveil Castle. Nonetheless, Sellen is a wonderful target for the three sorcery scrolls since she is readily reachable early on and because she is surrounded with grace.

Remedies

Although there aren't as many incantation dealers as there are sorcery vendors, it's far simpler to get in touch with them. You should mostly employ the incantation vendor located in the Roundtable Hold. You'll be searching for Corhyn; at first in the game, he doesn't provide many incantations, but if you give him a few prayer books, you can have access to a ton of more incantations.

You may finish D Hunter of the Dead's quest to unlock two incantation merchants once he appears in the Roundtable Hold. When D's mission is finished, you may teleport to Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman, who will sell you incantations each time you offer him Deethroot. This will unlock D as an incantation vendor. Every Deathroot expands his collection of incantations.

A double vendor is the last incantation merchant you will encounter in Elden Ring. Miriel, the turtle priest, sells spells as well as incantations. You do need to defeat Godrick before you may see him, however you can gift him any prayer books or scrolls you discover. In Liurnia of the Lakes, you may find Miriel in the Bellum Church.
