based on Oshioshio's original manga, In My Deer companion Nokotan, Torako Koshi, an ex-delinquent who is now an honor student, is followed as she deals with the presence of her "new" companion Noko after saving a human-deer hybrid on her way to school. Understandably, not every anime fan will like this, but when a joke like this appears, it's difficult not to grin since My Deer Friend Nokotan seems so real with its comedy.A lot of the finest comedy anime from 2010 comes to mind while watching this series, including Nichijou, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, and Mr. Osomatsu.
