Limited Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Released
Earlier this year, Nintendo initially revealed details about the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake for the Nintendo Switch. Today's E3 Nintendo Direct and the Treehouse section that followed revealed much more. Along with all of this new information, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Limited version, a special version of the game, was also revealed.
Nintendo of Europe made this statement and unveiled this gorgeous collection. Along with the game itself, you also receive a steelbook that resembles the original Game Boy, the platform on which The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening made its debut years ago. You will get a 120-page artbook in extra. Then, all of this is packaged in a larger box that looks amazing—though the final design may differ.
Although Nintendo of America has not yet made an announcement, this was revealed for Europe. There is precedence for this since, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was published in the US, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D was never released here. Though we all know it would sell out immediately and undoubtedly bring Nintendo a lot of money, let's hope we get this one.
On September 20, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will be available on the Nintendo Switch. We'll keep you informed if and when pre-orders for this version go live, so stay tuned for more information if and when it makes it to the West.
