Release dates for eight more Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo have been revealed.
When Super Smash Bros. for Wii U was launched, amiibo was first made available. A figure was made available for each playable character in the game. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's large fighter roster has led to the introduction of several more characters as amiibo, and more are yet to come. Eight additional amiibo have been given release dates, in addition to the ones we previously knew for the ones that will arrive next month.
Four new amiibo, including three from the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate line with Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Snake, will be released on September 20th. This follows the release of Pokemon Trainer, Isabelle, and Pichu the following month. The other is the amiibo Link's Awakening that we have already informed you about.
We will be receiving amiibo for Simon Belmont, Chrom, and Incineroar in November, a few months later. The announcement and pictures for Richter and Dark Samus for an undisclosed month in 2020 are the last ones. Although it is anticipated that they will appear in the first months, there is no assurance in that regard.
This brings the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate basic roster amiibo list to an end, except the Fighter Pass characters Joker, Hero, and Banjo-Kazooie. The current concern is whether or not we will see more amiibo for characters with radically different looks, like Princess Zelda, but that hasn't been shown in any manner yet.
