What does Destiny 2's Strand mean? Described

Introduction just got a huge update that included new features including Season of Plunder, Arc 3.0, and a sneak peak at the next expansion Lightfall. We're all dying to know more about the new element named Strand that Lightfall has released. This is our understanding of Strand in Destiny 2 so far.

In Destiny 2, the Strand

Strand is a brand-new subclass that will be available in Destiny 2. It is an element that will be a part of the Lightfall expansion, much as Stasis. Put differently, if you don't get Lightfall, you won't be able to utilize Strand.

Guardians will encounter Strand during Lightfall; unlike Solar, Arc, and Void, it is a power from the darkness rather than from the light. A unique version of Strand will be given to every Guardian.

The main addition made by Strand, as shown in the most recent Destiny 2 Showcase, is a grappling hook. The Strand grappling hook will work as stated, allowing any Guardians to utilize it at any point in time or space. This should result in some absurd riddles, amazing gaming videos, and enjoyable battle encounters.

The Hunter will also get a fantastic grappling whip that is reminiscent of the Mortal Combat Scorpio. Warlocks seem to have a Strand blast attack . Strand shards are sought for by Titans in order to deliver lethal melee damage.
